I really realized that I have not been my true self for the past years that I have been playing badminton. I was afraid to be competitive and not to show my irritation for a failed shot. But last Saturday, I realized that badminton is a battle of wills and one must not be afraid to show aggressiveness and competitiveness.

During the semifinals, I psyched myself to give my 110%, no guts no glory. We won the semis! But darn it, I forgot that there is still the next game. I didn't reserve anything for the next game, the result, we lost the game before it began. I folded mentally, oh well, but I could really say that our place was well fought and I am excited for our next tournament.

It's the NBA Championships. I haven't watched the NBA for quite a while and I was surprised to know that Shaquile is already playing for the Miami Heat. Antoine is still ever reliable. Dallas has a black coach! I may be a little racist but in basketball, I thought that coaching is not for the blacks.

Blacks are athletes, the ultimate fighting machine but of couse, this is just a generalization on my part - the ultimate Libran sin.

Look at where the Dallas team is right now and a black coach can be effective. But of course, my heart belongs to the Miami Heat.

It's the World Cup once again. Of course, we don't have a football team so who do I root for? We have 3 qualifications - we cheer for the team with:
1. Stunning good looks
2. Poging Players
3. Hot bods!

Ok, so I am not a good judge of a soccer team. But of course, I was able to play football and I know how hard it is. Of course, I go for team Brazil! I will switch teams when I find a team with better looking players. ;) AMEN!

Hello, it's me!

It's been awhile since I have shared something on this space about my thoughts and my life. Well, where do I start? Maybe just like an old good friend, I will try to give you some highlights on the past years when I was not blogging.

The biggest thing that happened to me so far was I got my Australian citizenship. I know right? I know that it may not be a big deal to others but for me, this is something that I have tried to work on for the past 5 years.  My kababayans might say that I am ungrateful, but we cannot discount the fact that with a blue passport from a country like Australia, I can travel to many countries - visa free without immigration officers trying to catch my eye and check if I am planning to do something illegal on their country.

No offense, but every time I stand on the immigration line going into another country, my heart always work double/triple time because I am too anxious to be deported back to my country even if I know that I have the proper visa.

Originally uploaded by amazonangbading. Last Saturday, I woke up earlier than usual for a weekend morning. Texted Dahon and Coultrophobic Clown, my head filled with excitement because I am going to have my own... I-PUD!!!

Dahon and I went store to store in search of the Holy Grail --- I-pod (green for her, blue for me... and with a SOCK!).

First Store --- No more blue or green 4 Gig I-pods, and No socks....

Second Store --- Yehey, there is a green 4 Gig Ipod, there's a blue one as well... and with socks! But alas, Citibank Credit card not accepted. grrr... (sayang, cute pa naman the guy who assisted us.. oh well)..

Third Store --- Boring Store, All of the above as Second Store (but the guy wasn't cute... hihihi)

Fourth Store --- There's a 4 Gig Green I-pod, no blue one.. Oh well, I can take any color... as long as it's not PINK! But the blasted manager was very mataray, and we (both Librans) felt her unkindness... and for what? I-Pod so…
Baby boom

The first time we settled here in Melbourne we got to know a lot of fellow Pinoys who are living on a different environment. We joined them in making Australia our second home. In each gathering, we try to get to know them better and reconnect.

We didn't know how it happened. But after 2 years, suddenly each couple had their own babies. Don't get me wrong, babies are cute but it was just surprising to note that parties suddenly turn into an event similar to family reunions back home.

Instead of blood relatives, you get to see friends and their kids grown before your eyes. It's not the gray hair that makes me feel old.  It's the babies and kids that are now walking and developing into little adults.

I can't complain. For some reason, it is good for now, to look and enjoy kids from afar. It's fun to carry them for a few minutes compared to living with a baby 24/7. It must be hard. I really commend couples with kids and having to work for a living at th…
