Weird and pleasurable weekend...

I am now at home, tired but happy after my 10 K run. I had fun although my body is numb already from the pain. The run's route was from Addidas Camp (inside the fort) and went through the whole Fort bonifacio until the libingan ng mga bayani then back.

My gosh, now I am watching on TV the militar standoff at the Fort chapel. We've just been there awhile ago and there's this military drama. Being a curious citizen, I wished I was there to see the tanks and soldiers. I don't have strong political convictions, apathy is my middle name in politics. But I get curious and I am a life voyeur so I would like to see what the fuss is all about.

I was not in Edsa I (I was too young then and I lived in Laharlandia thus the distance). But I was in Edsa II and Edsa III, yup, even Edsa III. Not for support but for anything, just to observe. I think that's my lot in life, to live vicariously. That aint bad.

Weekend Post

Nothing exciting happening...
Looking forward to our 10 K run this weekend...
Enjoying our hip-hop dance class... instructor's not gay (how do I know? It's a gift hon!)... but he's cute. I love his moves more... I could follow the steps... hurray!

Still feeling icky, hormonal, homicidal.. gosh, do I need Prozac to stabilize my mood swings? Naaahhh.. I have my Meiji Black Chocolates and Icon Magazine to shoo the blues away.

Ohhh... I had a very weird feeling while listening to my I-Pod and heard the song "Nagmamadal" by Bridge. The song was about the conversation between two people who engaged in a one-nite stand and the girl got preggy. It sounds corny but the way they sang it... blew me away (hmmm.. blow me away seems to be my fave phrase lately.. I wonder why.. ).

Who is that girl? I know it's not Grace Nono. But the voice and emotion was so RAW. Gosh... when she sang "Pwede mo na akong iwanan, kaya ko itong panindigan" I have to stop my…
A Valentine's Post...

"Good singleness is like a good marriage: you have to work at it!"

I have heard somewhere that we have to re-educate young people nowadays to know that love between two people is hard work. Movies, love songs are programming our psyche that true love is such a bliss... it's bliss at first (I am only guessing at this point)... but soon the novelty wears off and you have to find a common ground in which you'll survive in harmony, peace and contentment.

Well, for me... love is a hurricane, a force of nature... and I won't settle for anything less... I might by choosey but "All we need is Love!", "Love lifts us up where we belong.." "LOVE IS LIKE OXYGEN!"

Valentine's day is a sacred day, not just for couples but for beings who believe that Love will make everything all right and Love is just what we all need!

Happy Valentine's Week Everybody!
"Brokeback thoughts..."

"Poor is the man,
whose pleasures depend upon the permission of another"
-- from Justify My love video of her royal highness Madonna
.

Finally, I was able to watch Brokeback on DVD. I was really blown away...
I loved it! Heath Ledger (Ennis Del Mar) should win an award... any award... he was so good! The conflicting emotions are his burden to carry; Jack Twist (Jake G) is such a flirt on this movie.

The movie started off innocently enough, Fred and Jack are looking for a job, herding sheep on Brokeback Mountain (ok... the names of the place and the characters are freudian in nature... Jack Twist, Brokeback (their backs were broken? weheheeh )...)

At the onset, there was tension. Jack (I am not being stereotypical) but at first sight, I think Jack already had a thing for Ennis the first time they met. What with those colorful outfits, whatever his character says, he's really the dandy one!

Ok, off they went to the mountain to do some sheep …
Out of sorts... parallel universey...

I feel disoriented... one true sign that I am not myself is that I find myself finding comfort in my cutey cubie. Am I finding meaning in life through working? My gosh.. so not me... so not Libran...

I go to work... I stay at the office... I go to the gym and then I go back... as if my day is not complete if my last stop is not my cubie... gosh.. this is bad...

I am really not myself... where am I? :(
Random Thoughtsy galore...

I am excited to watch this movie and see some M2M action. But as Gerry told me, what they say in America is true: For gay people, it's not that gay and for straight people... it's too gay. Well, the result of kinda playing it safe? Nominations galore!

I heard that this movie will be showing this valentine's day together with memoirs of a geisha (longest time ever to show!) and of course the Richard/Angel vs. John Loyd/Bea/Sam starrers. I am a Richard fan, but I bet my hard-earned pesoses that Brokeback will break every record there is (in Philippine shores). I also bet that Laharlandia will rake in the biggest dough... the gay-center of Asia!

Fave line (From trailer): "I wish I knew how to quit you.... "... awwwww...

I am itching to buy Christian's latest album. He looked so cute in his latest video for Everything you do...

Sample Lyrics:

Baby when you sleep
I watched you breathing
Baby when you dream
I dream with you

A good ending...

At last, there is already a resolution to the settingherfree saga. It took the writer a long time to end it... honestly, I think it's a work of fiction, crafted before valentine's day, to give couple-less individuals a boo-hoo-hoo....

It's just too good to be true... my theory is that it's a creative writing student's thesis or something...

The writer is good... and he has a good imagination. I posted a comment... hope he won't delete it....

Update: He did delete it! So, it's really too good to be true. (Ba't ko sya inaaway? HAHAHA!) I should really get a life... AMEN!
