2009 - The fabulous year that will be...

I dunno, but I feel positive about the coming year. I know 2008 has been a bummer for everyone. With the recession being felt worldwide, there's a palpable stress in the air. But without stress, difficulties and all this brouhaha, no change will come. Without change, we might as well be dead. Change is what we must crave for and that's what 2009 for me is all about. The list below contains some insights that I want to fix in the coming year...

1. I think, therefore I am...
A change in attitude for me is to take things more lightly :) Not to overthink things. To just really go with the flow.... no stress, no expectations and no worries. But there must always be a big plan... but the key is not to worry too much on the details. Create a plan, create a picture on your mind and just let the universe unfold as it should. Work at it with all your heart and don't let anything blind you in achieving your goal.

2. Love, just love without…
MMFF 2008

I made my contribution to the Filipino Film Industry... by watching not just one.. but two MMFF film entries. Iskul Bukol for nostalgic reasons and Desperadas 2 for some eye candy. In Iskul Bukol, I was waiting for Tonette Macho. I have a very vivid memory of Tonette Macho. He was big like me and in my mind, I don't want to be Tonette Macho. I don't know why. Also when I was young, my aunt gave me a doll, a red doll with my name satin stitched (yes, memorized ko pa ang type of stitch) -- TONETTE. That's why I hate it when people call me Tonette. I remember that doll and Tonette Macho. Weird...

When the old cast assembled on stage, I smiled when I saw Tonette. They all asked him, "Tonette, how are you?" He remarked, "I am not Tonette anymore, I found the light..from the grace of God. I am Anthony now..." Ay, pareho kami ng sentiment. Tonette din ako dati, then I found the light.. :)

In Desperadas 2, I was staring the whole time at Marianne …
Lazy days...

It's my third day to be at home here in gaylandia. So far, so good... a little bout of restlessness yesterday... opened my office email, que horror! :) But I try to have a schedule,ha! I can be anal when I feel like it. I tried the carefree existence but I think it doesn't suit me. So, back to personality number.... forgot what number hehehe :)

I try to workout atleast two hours in the morning. I'll try to switch things around and follow Guru Cads advice to have my exercise in the morning (hey, congrats again dre!, I owe a lot of good advices from this guy, he might not look it, but he's my life guru talaga.. bow). Then, I read the books I stocked especially for this long haul - Murakami, Coelho, Gardner and new book by Rowlin. Heck, I really get bored easily, I have to read all these books simultaneously. Tells a lot about me I guess :)

Thank heavens my brother brought home our PS2. We have Guitar hero competitions and of course, I let him win.. heh…
Visions or hallucinations?....and some tawts

It's Christmas day! Of course, the tradition in our household is still followed. During Christmas day, my belly is still bloated from last night's dinner and my apologetic rhetoric to everyone..."Sorry wala akong gift ha. :(". My candid brother will remark, "What else is new? " So I just give them money and let them shop what they want.. wala talaga akong wenta. I am a bane to a consumerist society.

Anyway, while my family is out shopping, I am smoking my father's Philip Morris yosi. Yeah, I don't smoke when my mom's around, and my father is a Philip Morris fan so beggars cannot be choosy. While I was puffing the cigarette in a hurry since my family might come back earlier than expected, I realized that the Philip Morris cigarette is surprisingly long. Mauubusan ka na ng hininga at pagmumuni-muni before mo matapos ang isang stick. Compared to a Marlboro stick that is just one story long (isang kwent…
Christmas came early...

Little things make me heart a flutter these days...
- text messages :)
- being a witness to a friend saying Yes to her suitor via Coffee Frappe with choco swirl that spelled -- Y- E - S!. I told her.. "Ba't nde na lang OO, pinahirapan mo pa barista :)
- little bibe :)
- smell of curry, coffee and tobacco...
- Laughter of people around me :)
- being unbeatable at pingpong even for a day! (guru Cads and miggy boy! -- Dito ako mag-aangas dre!:) hahaaha)

Happy times.... and I could not ask for more..
Advanced Happy Christmas Everyone! :)

AMEN!
Aso kaya si Pong Pagong?

While I was looking at Botbot (my dog stuff toy given by Tala), I realized that I named him Botbot because he reminded me of Pong Pagong from batibot. I thought Pong Pagong was a dog. I have this hypothesis that maybe Pong Pagong is Botbot the dog inside a turtle costume?

I think I am losing it... :)

AMEN!
