MJ joined the ranks of Lennon, Cobain and Hendrix

I have mixed feelings about the demise of Michael Jackson. Why? They are treating it as equal to what happened in 1980 when John Lennon died. Mixed feelings for me...
His death propelled him back to Legend status. But we cannot deny his great contribution to pop music and we can just forget his antics and his fondness for children.

Shet, Digby in Manila!!!

Catch Marie Digby Live in Manila on July 5 – 12!

I was able to watch her in Minneapolis last year and I saw her up close. The combination of Japanese, Irish and American genes made her face so perfect and her skin so translucent.. it glows - promise!

But she's coming to Manila soon! :) Shet, Roses! She has a second album! I have to get it! Now na!
"Lucy in The Sky and The Pussycat Dolls Concert Experience..."

Of course, being a hard core Beatlemaniac, this news really caught my attention:

"Real Lucy in The Sky with Diamonds is gravely ill..."
They were childhood chums. Then they drifted apart, lost touch completely, and only renewed their friendship decades later, when illness struck.
Not so unusual, really.
Except she is Lucy Vodden — the girl who was the inspiration for the Beatles' 1967 psychedelic classic "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds" — and he is Julian Lennon, the musician son of John Lennon.
They are linked together by something that happened more than 40 years ago when Julian brought home a drawing from school and told his father, "That's Lucy in the sky with diamonds."

It's a known story to every Beatle fan worth her salt. The song Lucy In the Sky with Diamonds was inspired by that one remark from John's son, and this news story really added authenticity to this. Imagi…
It's a gay, gay world...

My friend Caridad received a phone call last weekend from her gay friend Pamin. In turns out that his new officemate is also a friend of Caridad who we shall call Girly.

Now, Pamin was not OUT at work so he really begged Caridad not to reveal that he is a goddess trapped in a man's body. Caridad was ok with it since we are all advocates of "In his own time to come out" principle. Besides, Girly is a nice girl and Pamin thinks that Girly is the conservative type.

Then, a day after, Caridad received a text message from Girly, Girly told Caridad. "Friend, don't tell Pamin that I have a girlfriend ha?". Girly is a lesbian. HAHAHAHA! "OMG, bakit hindi sila nagka-amuyan? Kaya nagugunaw ang mundo eh!" What world is this that lesbians and gays don't even recognize each other....

Now there's the kapuso network and the kapamilya network, my friend and I would open our new gay network --- the Kadugo network! Kung …
Bill is Dead...

David Carradine, the actor who played one of the central characters on the movie Kill Bill was found dead on his hotel apparently of suicide. So sad... He's the actor who I always see on Kung fu Movies and I was a fan of the TV series, "Kung Fu, the Legend Continues.. "

He was happy to be stereotyped I think (feeling close)... He always played the part of the soft-spoken guy who kicked ass!

Although he has the moves of someone who can kill you with the five palm technique, I loved his chinky eyes :)
Sometimes, words do possess power. I wonder if the title of the movie set off the karmic chain of events that lead to his demise... Hmm.. what about "Totoy Molah?"
