Rides, Laughs and Wetness
February 25, 2005 – Edsa Anniversary – GA Team Building - I took a break from leafing through my books and off I went to the other end of Luzon… from North to South – from Laharlandia to Enchanted Kingdom in Laguna. This is my third time to go to EK – first as a naïve college youngster, second, as a much older and wiser gal and now, as a cuter and sexier moi… hehehe.... :)
As usual, I have no plans to ride any of the scary and gravity defying machines. I only want to ride the bump cars, watch a movie in Rialto and of course, eat and ogle-ogle some cute guys. Although as a Libran, I am a member of the Air element cardinal sign, I am so scared of heights. I am also scared of the water (but I do take a bath – Yes, I do!) and I am also slightly claustrophobic (crowded elevators and caves give me heart - exertion cardio big time!) - (yup, phobias... I have a lot of them). So, I just laid out a plan to just sit it out and maybe eat some hotdogs and just do some people watching (my favorite pastime). But I was wrong; this day turned out to be a loooonnnngggg one.
Thanks to my supportive and ever so cheerful teammates, I was persuaded to ride the Log Jam and the Rio del Grande! Gosh, thank heavens that I had the foresight to bring extra change of clothes that day. I learned some lessons from some of my friends the last time I went to EK. They went home with skin-clinging clothing (whew! That was sexy hehehe :)). I still have the picture of the three of them ala Basang Sisiw in my head while I was packing my things and I thought I wasn’t taking any chances. Boy, I was so grateful that I brought extra clothes for after riding the water rides I was dripping wet. My pants were so heavy and I was so WET! Not the naughty kind of wet but the water-based wetness!
It was fun! But surprisingly, I saw something in my favorite person in the project that I only saw just this day. I found out that this particular person was human! Somehow, my fear of that person went down a notch (I just hope that it remained in that level).
But I still snubbed the space shuttle (tsk-tsk… O ye of little faith).. Next time, next time! I swear I will!
After the rides, I thought that the day will be over and I will be lying on my bed earlier than usual. But after EK, off we went to Timog - Laffline! A comedy bar! Gosh, that was FUN! I laughed and laughed until my lip muscles cannot form a smile anymore… my spirit was lifted and I have new fafas! First, is fafa Hans! The best BJer in the country! He’s so cute! I swear! Of course, he’s gay. He’s the amazonangbading’s crush so I guess that’s a prerequisite…. Hehehe. Second, is a contestant in one of their contests. I forgot his name and Margie the siomai muncher wittingly pointed out that my crush has a crush on my other crush! The crusher is also a crushee! Hehehe ;) Well, this wasn’t the first time that happened in this lifetime! (wink-wink). And, I am now an official member of Vice Ganda’s fans club! He’s so witty and charismatic!
The guys didn’t come home empty-handed. They were ogling at Jen Rosenbum. (a boy wizard was happy that day!) A viva hot babe indeed! What can I say? Her face can literally fit the palm of my hand. Television really adds those ten pounds. She’s so slim! I wish I had legs like hers and Vice Ganda’s. ‘Legs kung legs!’
Of course, how could we leave Laffline without our project’s crooner taking the stage. Go Gerry! (“Kaw kasi kung sinagot mo na ako eh di nasabi ko na girlfriend mo ko”… hehehe ;) )
Overall, a good day! A BLOGGABLE day!
PS – Welcome back to leafy rose from the land of beer and sausages! Aviator is a thinking movie. Please do watch it if you want to do a case study of the OC psyche. Leonardo is now a man! Period!
