Random Thingeys...
I have been in some sort of hiatus for the past few months from blogging. This is something new since I was the sort of person who did daily or weekly updates! This was my way of sharing my thoughts and stories with my friends.
Just to share something to the universe, here are just some random thoughs and events from the past few months.

Mommie's baking exploits - Car has been experimenting on new recipes and I am the very willing guinea pig. Lately, she is into baking! Scones (well, she did a great job for someone who hasn't tasted scones before), red velvet cake, tuffet pudding, brownies, and carrot cake with Rosie.
We don't have an oven here (yes, that is Car's frustration) but dahon has been a gracious host and always lends us her kitchen for some sumptuous cooking and baking.
My latest favorite is Mommie's tortilla and empanada! She also makes a very yummy hummus mix!

UFC! I love the UFC - Reality Show! I discovered it late when I tried to buy some DVDs that my dad will enjoy. It turned out that I loved the show more than him! He didn't like watching newbies.

I love the struggles, the training, and all of those big boys living in one roof. If I were to choose between Tyra's house of models and the house of UFC fighters, I will choose the latter.
First, they look more neat. They are genuine, no two-face bickerings. And they are very funny! Imagine a 6 foot 9 guy screaming like a girl on the sight of a cockroach! hahaha.. that was hilarious! And - they use the kitchen!

My only frustration is that I don't get to read as much as I like. I haven't found a good author that will cater to my ADD in literature. I tried re-reading Harukami's novels during the long vacation and I am still looking for the author with the same style.
I can relate to Harukami, when I read his characters, they resemble me in more ways than one. The only books I can finish nowadays are non-fiction books. nyayay!

I basically stopped watching movies in movie houses. I always fall asleep and it's a waste of money! Good thing that we discovered our neighborhood pirata. We just watch DVD instead of going to the mall.
I now can sit through a movie or a DVD series. Things I cannot do before. Well, I think I am getting old :).
Oohh.. I smell some cooking from the kitche and I think we're going to eat na! To everyone reading this just continue to Love, Laugh and Live! :)
